With feline affection,
She purrs past my place.
I sense her deception,
Yet yield to her grace.

Her elegant stride,
Hips sway left to right.
She leaves me begging,
Whilst inside I fight.
‘Cause she doesn’t see me,
When I put on a show
She only hears me,
When she wants to know.

When she’s a kitten,
I’m smitten by her charm.
But her cat-characteristics
Clash with my calm.
She stalks and seduces,
Before my green eyes.
My confidence reduces,
Remembering her lies

She doesn’t see me,
Though I put on a show.
She doesn’t hear me,
Cause she doesn’t want to know.
